“I have been going to Dr. Arfanis for over 20 years and the treatment has been excellent. The office is quiet, organized and well managed. Dr. Arfanis is patient, thorough and precise is his work and the outcomes have always been successful. He clearly explains what he is doing and keeps me informed of what the options are. I think so highly of his work I travel out from my home in NYC to Westfield NJ for my appointments. It is well worth it.”

Your First Visit Is All About You – Your Comfort and Your Health.
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history. Our Hygienist will clean, polish and take x-rays of your teeth. Then, the doctor will meet with you to discuss your x-rays. He will check your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis helping you create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have.
Also Remember to Bring These With You to Your First Appointment:
- Your Completed Medical/Dental History Form
- Your Insurance Card and Picture ID
Make Sure to Schedule Regular Check-Ups!
The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist regularly for checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Regular visits can help identify early signs of oral health problems making in some instances treatment simpler and more affordable.
We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember that your appointment can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
“Several friends have recommended Dr. Arfanis to me over the years. After a check-up appointment with my old dentist who never talked to me about the state of my teeth, and only said to “come back in 6 months,” I finally decided to move. A short time later in my first meeting with Dr. Arfanis, he found a tooth that had two cracks in it! Now I know I can ask Dr. Arfanis anything about my teeth. This experience has made me think that if other doctors don’t directly talk about my health, why should I keep them?”
